Higher French and Spanish tutorials At Kilmardinny House Arts Centre Room 1 on Thursdays 3.45 pm until 4.45 pm

I shall be running the following 1hour tutorials for students of Higher French and Higher Spanish.  These tutorials will be for a maximum of 8 students per session and will consist of the following:

Preparation for the revised Final Talking Assessment

To help students practise for the newly revised Higher performance of talking I shall be presenting a number of questions in the language to which the students will be given support to prepare answers.

We will then practise orally to help with pronunciation and fluency.

All materials will be supplied.

The first group of tutorials will cover the following context:  Society     Topics:  Family and friends; Lifestyles; Media

Dates of  6 tutorials:  30 August, 6 September, 12 September, 27 September, 4 October and 11 October.

Fees:  £12 per session or £60 if you book all six sessions in advance.  All sessions must be booked in advance via email as it will be a maximum of 8 students.

About me: I am a fully qualified GTC registered experienced teacher of French and Spanish.  I have a Disclosure Scotland Certificate.   I have dedicated over 20 years of my professional life to the teaching of students of all abilities in secondary schools to achieve their full potential in a foreign language.  Before teaching, I worked as a trilingual secretary for the Secretariat of the European Parliament based in Luxembourg.
